The Kiss Technologies KT808-R0R System provides continuous measurement of steel level and steel rate of rise in bottom pour ingot casting operations. The rising steel level is measured using non-contact radar technology independent of steam, dust, and noise for reliable measurement accuracy of ± 1mm.
Measurement data is communicated through a wireless network to a ruggedized wireless operator tablet with a graphical dashboard. The radar unit is battery-powered for full-day operation and portable for easy movement among molds. The KT808-RoR System safely and accurately measures the steel level for controlled system operations.
